Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a versatile HR Generalist to support operations in Richards Bay, covering recruitment, employee relations, HR administration and compliance.

You will partner with employees and management to implement HR policies, maintain accurate records, and drive HR initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in HR, 3–5 years' experience, and familiarity with South African labour law and HR software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as HR Generalist or similar.
• Solid understanding of recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
• Knowledge of South African labour law and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to preparing employment contracts.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues and disciplinary processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR data management standards.
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives, such as performance reviews and training programs.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant South African labor legislation.
