Placements24 is seeking a meticulous HR Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to South African labor laws for operations in Paarl. You will translate complex regulations into practical guidance for the business and its employees, safeguarding the organization's ethics and risk management.

Responsibilities include developing HR policies, auditing practices, staying current with laws, handling inquiries from regulators, delivering training, and guiding management through corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience specifically in HR compliance or labor law.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA).
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with South African labor laws and industry regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices and documentation to identify and address potential compliance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations and advise management on necessary adjustments.
• Manage and respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies and government agencies.
• Develop and deliver training programs to employees and managers on compliance-related topics.
• Oversee the investigation of compliance complaints and implement corrective actions as needed.
