Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent is required.
• Hospitality Management qualification is advantageous.
• 2–5 years of housekeeping experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support housekeeping staff in daily duties.
• Manage daily tasks, work schedules, and staff allocations.
• Ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in guest rooms, public areas, and surrounding gardens.
• Identify, report, and follow up on maintenance requirements.
• Monitor and control housekeeping supplies, linen, and equipment.
• Handle guest requests professionally and ensure an outstanding guest experience.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with administrative functions within the department.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
