Job summary

Village N Life in Cape Town's Camps Bay is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for The Bay Hotel to lead and inspire a team of housekeeping professionals. You will oversee daily cleaning operations, uphold high cleanliness standards, and ensure guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are spotless and welcoming.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication, and problem-solving under pressure, with previous hotel experience.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or hospitality/tourism qualification.
• Previous housekeeping supervisory experience.
• Familiar with housekeeping duties and procedures.
• Hotel experience.

What is required:

Perform any combination of cleaning duties in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, kitchens, stoves, appliances, windows, patios, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and cleaning interior and exterior areas where applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12/ Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Tourism.
• Previous experience in the same or similar position
• Familiar with duties and procedures in the Housekeeping Department
• HOTEL EXPERIENCE
