Premier Resort The Moorings in Knysna is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to lead the team and uphold top cleanliness standards, presentation, and guest satisfaction. You will be an organised, hands-on leader with meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

The role involves directing daily housekeeping operations, conducting inspections, and coordinating with Front Office to ensure rooms are guest-ready.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Housekeeping Manager or similar in hotel/resort.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the Housekeeping department.
• Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas meet high standards.
• Lead, motivate, train, and supervise the housekeeping team.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Manage housekeeping schedules, staff allocation, and daily work requirements.
• Monitor supplies, amenities, equipment, and linen stock.
• Ensure proper handling and reporting of lost property.
• Collaborate with Front Office and other departments to prepare rooms.
