Alliance Recruitment Agency is seeking a Hotel General Manager in South Africa to steer daily operations across departments, drive profitability, and lead a high-performing team. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management or related field, 2–3 years of hotel management experience, and strong leadership with English fluency.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments (housekeeping, front office, F&B, etc.). Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals.
Lead, train, and motivate hotel staff to provide exceptional guest experiences. Manage recruitment, performance evaluation, and team development.
Ensure high-quality customer service and address guest complaints or feedback promptly. Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality.
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize profitability. Analyze revenue reports and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel and increase occupancy. Establish partnerships with travel agencies, event planners, and other stakeholders.
Ensure the hotel complies with all relevant regulations, including health, safety, and labor laws. Regularly inspect facilities to ensure standards are maintained.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hotel management or a related role. Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and achieving financial targets.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in hotel management software and basic accounting principles.
Fluency in English (knowledge of local language preferred).
Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Strong networking and negotiation skills. In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and market trends.
