Placements24 is seeking a Lead Sanitation Technician for a flagship hotel in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. You will oversee cleaning operations, lead a team, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards to protect guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality cleaning, works with cleaning chemicals and machinery, and can manage schedules and budgets while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a prestigious hotel group, is seeking an experienced and meticulous Lead Sanitation Technician to oversee the cleaning and hygiene operations at their flagship property in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape . This crucial role ensures that all guest areas, back-of-house facilities, and public spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. You will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated cleaning professionals, managing schedules, ensuring proper use of equipment and supplies, and upholding all health and safety regulations. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a strong commitment to excellence and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in the hospitality or contract cleaning industry, with a deep understanding of sanitation best practices, including the use of various cleaning agents and machinery. You will play a vital role in maintaining the hotel's reputation for pristine environments and guest satisfaction.
