Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Hospitality Cleaning Supervisor in East London to lead a housekeeping team across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house operations. You will implement cleaning schedules, monitor standards and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction with a strong focus on health and safety.

The role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to manage inventory and coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance, and a commitment to delivering pristine, welcoming environments

Qualifications

• Experience as Cleaning Supervisor or Housekeeping Supervisor in hospitality.
• Knowledge of hotel cleaning standards, sanitation practices and health & safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform inspections and assist with cleaning tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays in East London.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and motivate a team of housekeeping and cleaning staff.
• Develop and implement daily cleaning schedules for guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory of linens, supplies and amenities.
• Enforce hotel policies and health and safety regulations.
• Respond to guest requests related to cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance for smooth operations.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor of team.
• Lead deep cleaning programs and special projects as required.
• Ensure proper care of cleaning equipment and machinery.
