Job summary

Netcare Pharmacies is seeking a Stock Clerk to manage inventory across hospital stores and wards. The role focuses on accurate stock levels, system reconciliation, and timely replenishment to support patient care.

You will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, coordinating with nursing staff and ensuring proper stock handling. Responsibilities include stock takes, MRPs, and adherence to FEFO/FIFO principles, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital store/inventory management.
• Ability to reconcile stock with systems (SAP/OrderCo).
• Knowledge of FEFO/FIFO stock rotation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock levels across hospital stores and wards.
• Reconcile physical stock against SAP system and resolve discrepancies.
• Replenish consumables and manage stock transfers.
• Prepare and update stock books and MRPs as required.
• Conduct cyclical and rotation stock takes.
• Coordinate with nursing staff on stock levels and billing.
• Ensure stock handling complies with procedures and safety requirements.
• Keep stores secure and maintain neat packing; follow FEFO/FIFO.
