Job summary

Netcare invites you to join our team as a Stock Clerk responsible for inventory accuracy across hospital stores. You will reconcile stock against SAP, replenish consumables, and support warehouse operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You must have Grade 12 and a basic stock control certificate, with stock management experience and comfort with MS Office. Travel across hospital areas is required to support delivery, stocking, and compliance with proper FEFO/FIFO practices.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 certificate is mandatory.
• Basic stores and stock control certificate (BSSC) is required.
• Previous stock management experience is preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year in a similar role is desirable.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical stock control systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile physical stock against the SAP system.
• Replenish consumable stock throughout the hospital as scheduled.
• Generate MRP for all storage locations per the replenishment roster.
• Issue, pick and pack replenishment inventory for locations or cost centres.
• Deliver and unpack inventory in assigned storage locations.
• Capture stock and transfers between locations or cost centres.
• Monitor expired and damaged stock in wards.
• Identify excess/slow-moving stock and return to pharmacy where applicable.
• Review SLOC stock levels and adjust to MRP values.
• Clear error logs and liaise with Nursing for up-to-date billings.
