FROGG Recruitment is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist for a 3-6 month fixed-term contract in Cape Town. The role focuses on treasury support, high-volume bank reconciliations across multiple currencies, and finance system administration. Hybrid work setup with UK working hours is offered.

You will reconcile bank statements, post cashbooks, and support accounts payable processes while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely monthly closings.

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury, cashbook, and high-volume bank reconciliations.
• Strong double-entry bookkeeping understanding (P&L vs Balance Sheet).
• Ability to work with high volumes of transactions and multi-currency reconciliations (GBP, EUR, USD) is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Experience importing and posting invoices and managing payments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of daily multi-currency bank reconciliations and cashbook postings.
• Manage accounts payable tasks, supplier queries, and weekly payment runs.
• Reconcile VAT and payroll taxes for statutory purposes.
• Reconcile monthly corporate credit cards and employee expense claims.
• Onboard vendors, maintain workflows, and manage user permissions in finance portals.
• Perform various month-end reconciliations and supplier portal invoice processing.
