Job summary

Compass Medical Waste Services is seeking a Sales Executive to drive revenue growth at our Clayville, Olifantsfontein branch in Gauteng. The role focuses on achieving monthly sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and expanding business through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years in sales/medical representation, with excellent communication and organisational skills. A relevant diploma and own transport are preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric or Grade 12 / NQF 4 learning ability is required.
• Minimum 5 years sales / medical representative experience is required.
• Sales and Marketing Diploma / Nursing Diploma an added advantage.
• Basic Accounting knowledge is an asset.
• Knowledge of Health Care Risk Waste Industry is an advantage.
• Must have own reliable transport with a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Grow new business through existing customers (upsell/cross-sell).
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities.
• Travel and stay away from home for short periods.
