Mediclinic is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Controller to optimise revenue by ensuring accurate patient billing and complete documentation. The role requires knowledge of invoicing, tariffs, and DRG processes, with experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Essential education is Grade 12; desirable experience in healthcare billing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AS400 is advantageous to manage debtors, creditors and final billing efficiently.

Qualificações

• Must understand invoicing, reconciliations and final billing procedures.
• Knowledge of anatomy related to billing for medical procedures.
• Familiar with CPP and medical aid tariff implications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with patient administration policies and AS400 is a plus.
• Experience with government gazette, EDI and DRG processes is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Accurate and timely billing of all items charged during the patient stay.
• Complete patient files with supporting documents and final billed accounts.
• Utilise reports to ensure prompt finalisation and rendering of accounts.
• Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure client satisfaction.
