Mediclinic is seeking a supervisor for the Accounts Department to oversee daily operations and help achieve company goals. The role focuses on team development and ensuring financial processes align with industry best practices.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, Grade 12 or equivalent, and understanding of private healthcare administration, HR policies, and debt-collection legislation. Strong computer literacy and knowledge of billing, reconciliations, and patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• HR policies; systems; procedures and relevant legislation (including recruitment and performance management)
• Sound financial knowledge (e.g. reconciliations; debits and credits; adjustment journals; etc.)
• Business to Business Processes
• Medical schemes policies; rules; regulations; and tariff rules and structures
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Relevant aspects of legislation for the debt collection environment (e.g. National Credit Act; Consumer Protection Act; etc.)
