Placements24 seeks a Lead Telecom Network Operations Manager in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The role oversees a large telecom network, guiding a team of engineers and technicians to ensure high availability and reliability.

You will implement processes, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives to support service delivery across South Africa. The successful candidate will have a strong ITIL background, experience with IP/mobility networks, and a proven track record of leading technical teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
8+ years in telecom network operations.
3+ years in management or team lead role.

Responsibilities

Lead network operations engineers and technicians, set performance goals.
Oversee monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution to minimise downtime.
Develop and implement procedures, SLAs and best practices for network operations.
Manage the NOC and incident, problem, and change management processes.
Collaborate with planning and engineering for service deployments and upgrades.
Drive initiatives for performance optimization and capacity management.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
Manage vendor relationships for network tools and services.
Prepare regular reports on performance, incidents and efficiency.
