Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Director of Paid Media to lead the PPC and SEO practice. This management seat directs strategists and owns channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale. You will ensure the department delivers, while the specialists execute campaigns and reports.

You will also shape hiring and client communications. You will work with cross-functional teams in a client-facing role, maintaining high standards for audits, reporting accuracy, and results across paid search

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO.
• Depth in Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta and Microsoft Ads.
• Experience leading strategists or specialists.
• Experience in an agency environment managing multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Own PPC and SEO department strategy and quality bar.
• Define audits and reporting standards the team must meet.
• Ensure client results and accurate attribution reporting across channels.
• Lead escalation when accounts are at risk and communicate with clients.
• Plan department hiring and conduct first-round interviews within a quarter.
