Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a premier golf estate in George, Western Cape. The role oversees golf course, clubhouse, and related facilities, driving service quality and efficiency, with a strong emphasis on staff leadership and budget control.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in luxury hospitality or golf course management, exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure in a dynamic estate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Golf Course Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of operations management experience in luxury golf resort or high-end hospitality.
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams and budgets.
• Strong understanding of golf course maintenance practices and standards.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of golf course, clubhouse, and related facilities.
• Lead a diverse team of staff including groundskeepers, hospitality, and admin.
• Develop and implement operational policies for efficiency and quality service.
• Manage departmental budgets, cost control, and revenue strategies.
• Ensure presentation and playability standards across facilities.
• Oversee member services and address concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with marketing, F&B, and events for seamless operations.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relations.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental regulations compliance.
• Contribute to strategic planning for the golf estate.
