Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• 7+ years progressive golf management experience with emphasis on ops and business development.
• Proven track record of increasing golf revenue and profitability.
• Experience in managing tournament operations and golf events.
• Strong understanding of golf course operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all golf operations, including tee-time management, player support, club repair, and instruction programs.
• Manage golf shop inventory, merchandising, and profitability; ensure high customer service standards.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase green fee revenue, membership sales, and golf-related F&B.
• Plan and manage golf tournaments, events, and corporate outings.
• Collaborate with Golf Course Superintendent to ensure top course conditions and playability.
• Lead marketing plans using digital channels and local partnerships to attract golfers.
• Manage golf operations budget to maximize profitability for the Pretoria facility.
• Train, supervise, and motivate golf operations team; foster excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Stay updated on golf industry trends and best practices to improve services.
