Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is assisting with a Mine Manager (3.1) search in the North West region. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Mine Engineering or Geology and a Mine Managers Certificate.

Requirements include 10 years in hard rock mining, 5 years in a Mine Manager position, plus leadership and strong analytical abilities to lead underground operations, safety and budgeting efforts.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in hard rock mining environment.
• 5 years as a Mine Manager (3.1).
• Mine Managers Certificate is a must.
• ECSA registration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Manage all day-to-day underground mining operations.
• Safety and Compliance.
• Leadership and Team Management.
• Budget and Financial Oversight: Develop, manage and monitor underground mining operations budget.
• Project Management and reporting to Senior Management.
