Profile Personnel in East London is seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily operations, lead a small team and drive excellent customer service.

You will oversee stock, cash control, shift planning and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining high store standards. The role requires Grade 12, a valid driver’s license, and 1–2 years of supervisory or retail/hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric is required.
• Experience supervising or managing a team is essential.
• Retail or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work long hours, weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and staff supervision
• Ensure excellent customer service and high store presentation standards
• Oversee stock management, cash control and shift planning
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Lead by example in achieving sales and operational targets
• Respond to site call-outs when required, including alarm activations at any time of day or night

Requirements (Non-Negotiables):

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
• 1–2 years’ supervisory or management experience
• Previous retail or hospitality experience
• Comfortable working long hours, weekends and public holidays
• Reliable, hands-on and confident in managing people and operations
