Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest levels of guest service through Fairmont standards and policies.
• Manage and return soiled linen regularly from pantry to linen room.
• Stock pantries with clean linen according to par-stock.
• Assist linen room with daily tasks.
• Report lost and found items to supervisor or management.
• Report malfunctioning equipment to Floor Supervisor or Housekeeping Management.
• Sign for assigned keys, pagers, and work papers and return by shift end.
• Clean and store vacuums and equipment used that day.
• Vacuum and dust corridors and staircases as assigned.
• Carry guest supplies to pantries and replenish service areas.
• Record guest requests and carry out exactly as requested.
• Move furniture when required.
• Refill daily chemicals and maintain cleanliness of walls and lights.
• Assist with removing guestroom drapery for cleaning and perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Maintain tidy Housekeeping Office, pantries and storerooms.
• Report any health and safety hazards.
• Assist in on-the-job training of new attendants.
• Attend training courses and comply with supervisor requests.
