Qualifications

• Senior Housekeeping/Executive Housekeeping experience.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.

• Knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coordinate the Housekeeping team.
• Ensure consistently high standards across guest rooms and public areas.
• Manage daily room assignments and departmental operations.
• Monitor guest feedback and ensure effective resolution and follow-up.
• Coordinate maintenance requirements with Technical Services.
• Manage linen, guest amenities and housekeeping stock levels.
• Develop systems and procedures to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
• Conduct daily team briefings and support team development.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and hotel standards.
• Review daily arrivals and anticipate guest requirements.

EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER | CAPE TOWN

Are you an experienced Executive Housekeeper with a passion for luxury hospitality, exceptional standards and inspiring high-performing teams? A prestigious luxury hotel in Cape Town is looking for an accomplished Executive Housekeeper to join its Housekeeping leadership team. Reporting directly to the Director of Housekeeping ; you will play a key role in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest service across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coordinate the Housekeeping team
• Ensure consistently high standards across guest rooms and public areas
• Manage daily room assignments and departmental operations
• Monitor guest feedback and ensure effective resolution and follow-up
• Coordinate maintenance requirements with Technical Services
• Manage linen, guest amenities and housekeeping stock levels
• Develop systems and procedures to enhance quality and operational efficiency
• Conduct daily team briefings and support team development
