MULTIFORM HUMAN DEVELOPMENT (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Guest House Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and profitability. You will manage bookings across platforms, supervise staff, and maintain standards in rooms and shared areas.

The role requires strong communication in Afrikaans and English, meticulous record keeping, and hands-on leadership. Working hours are weekdays with weekend standby, and a focus on high guest satisfaction and social media promotion.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent NQF level qualification.
• Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
• Computer literacy in Excel, Canva, Nightbridge and Booking.com; Google Apps experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and handling inquiries and requests.
• Ensure high guest satisfaction and seamless guest experiences.
• Schedule staff based on operations and occupancy.
• Manage bookings via online platforms, WhatsApp, email, and phone.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and standards.
• Monitor stock levels and place timely orders.
• Manage budgets, process payments and invoices.
• Promote the guest house on social media and booking sites.
• Standby during weekends and after hours for guest support.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance as needed.
