Job summary

GCO Partners in Soweto invites applications for a Guest Experience Officer to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional stay. This on-site role involves greeting guests, coordinating services, and resolving issues with courtesy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in guest services, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You will work with multiple departments to tailor experiences and uphold the brand's standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in guest service/front desk or similar hospitality role.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and service standards.
• Proficiency with hotel management software is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide personalized attention throughout the stay.
• Proactively understand guest needs and preferences.
• Assist with inquiries and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Address guest requests and concerns promptly and satisfactorily.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to fulfill requests.
• Document interactions and feedback in the CRM system.
• Manage guest amenities and special requests with accuracy.
• Assist with check-in/check-out as needed.
• Maintain high standards of guest service and hotel presentation.
• Serve as a first point of contact for guest feedback and suggestions.
