Introduction

An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and service-driven Guest Activities Coordinator based in Cape Town. This newly created position combines guest hosting, excursion coordination and professional driving responsibilities to ensure guests enjoy memorable experiences both on and off our properties.

Working across two properties within the group, the successful candidate will act as a destination ambassador, coordinating transfers, excursions and local activities while delivering exceptional levels of service. The role requires a highly organised individual who is confident working independently, takes ownership of guest experiences and has extensive knowledge of Cape Town's leading attractions, wine estates, cultural sites, restaurants and tourism offerings.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, has a passion for hospitality and tourism and takes pride in creating seamless guest journeys. The successful candidate will be proactive, professional, well-presented and capable of managing multiple responsibilities without constant supervision.

Job Description & Requirements

• Coordinate and manage guest excursions and activities between two hospitality properties.
• Conduct guest transfers and provide safe, professional transportation services.
• Host guests on excursions and deliver exceptional service throughout their experience.
• Recommend and arrange suitable activities based on guest interests and preferences.
• Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for Cape Town and surrounding tourism destinations.
• Maintain excellent communication with both properties regarding guest schedules and requirements.
• Take ownership of all off-site guest experiences, ensuring smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
• Hold a valid South African Driver's Licence.
• Possess a valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP/PDP).
• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, guest hosting or excursion coordination.
• Excellent knowledge of Cape Town attractions, wine farms, restaurants and leisure activities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Advanced driving qualifications or experience would be advantageous.
• Must currently reside in Cape Town.

Salary: R15,000 per month (Dependent on Experience)
