Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Midrand is seeking a results-driven professional to manage sales reporting, distributor activity, and new business development within Gauteng. You will support account management, client visits, and quotation preparation, while coordinating with sales leaders to drive regional growth.

The role involves partnerships with distributors and end-users, exhibitions support, and proactive customer communication to ensure timely updates and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Report on Sales Performance and activities monthly to Sales Manager including pipeline reporting
• Monitor and report on sales budget and forecasting
• Activate distributor accounts with a minimum of 20 client visits per month
• During each client visit provide product and concept training or discuss new business/product development
• Complete client visit reports
• Target and set meetings with new distributor accounts within region/territory and target industry
• Target and set meetings with large end-user accounts to propose product solutions
• Assist in preparation for exhibitions with distributors
• Prepare detailed quotations including availability, price and delivery forecast
• Understand product applications and available alternatives
• Maintain stock awareness and apply FIFO where practicable
• Raise and process necessary documentation and acknowledgements
• Amend customer orders where necessary
• Proactively contact customers and keep them updated on status
• Notify customers of issues or delays
• Record customer complaints and drive corrective actions and related invoicing when applicable
