Job summary

Talent Candey is assisting a short-term insurance client in Port Elizabeth to recruit driven Short-Term Insurance Advisers for Personal and Commercial Lines. You will generate leads, build a strong sales pipeline and provide professional, advice-led insurance solutions.

The role requires FAIS qualifications, RE5, CPD points, and a proven track record in personal and commercial lines, with own vehicle and a valid licence. You will work both independently and as part of a team to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Minimum of three years experience selling short-term insurance as a broker or tied agent.
• Sales experience in both personal and commercial lines.
• FAIS credits: 30 credits (before 2010) or FSCA qualification (after 2010).
• RE5 examination is required.
• CPD: 12 points for one line, 18 for both lines.
• Compliance with FAIS fit-and-proper requirements.
• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
• Computer literacy: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Social media presence for networking and lead generation.
• Ability to generate own leads and develop new business.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Generate sufficient leads to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Achieve a minimum of four written policies per month and meet targets.
• Maintain Lead Generation Matrix weekly.
• Conduct comprehensive needs analyses with prospective clients.
• Provide personal and commercial short-term insurance advice.

Our Short-Term Insurance client is currently looking for driven and experienced Short-Term Insurance Advisers Personal and Commercial Lines to join their team based in Port Elizabeth

The successful candidates will be responsible for generating their own leads, building a strong sales pipeline and providing professional, advice-led insurance solutions to personal and commercial clients.

Salary: Package to be confirmed.

Essential Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12. Minimum of three years experience selling short-term insurance as a broker agent or tied agent. Sales experience in both personal and commercial lines . FAIS credits: Minimum of 30 credits in short-term insurance if the Date of First Appointment is before 2010; alternatively, a fully recognised qualification on the FSCA qualification list if appointed on or after 1 January 2010. FAIS Regulatory Examination for Representatives (RE5 ). Required CPD points: 12 if registered for one line of business, or 18 if registered for both personal and commercial lines. All required regulatory examinations and accreditation. Compliance with applicable FAIS fit-and-proper requirements. Own reliable vehicle and a valid drivers licence. Computer literacy, including calendar management, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Social media presence and the ability to use social media for networking and lead generation. Ability to generate own leads and develop new business. Ability to work independently and within a team.
