Job summary

The South African Breweries Ltd in KwaZulu-Natal Port Shepstone is looking for a field-based sales professional to drive growth, market share, and competitive differentiation by delivering market-driven service to identified segments.

You will manage distributors, ensure product availability, monitor pricing, and track competitor actions while leveraging strong local knowledge to grow our beer-focused footprint.

Qualifications

• 3-year degree qualification required.
• At least 2 years’ experience in sales/marketing/FMCG.
• Valid unendorsed Cod 8 driver’s license.
• Basic computer literacy with MS Office.
• Local area knowledge is required.
• Excellent administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
• Manage and supervise distributors of the assigned sector (order, payment, re-distribution).
• Ensure IB products are available in reasonable stock (complete range) in the customers and retail outlets.
• Ensure chillers are properly placed in the performing outlet and used exclusively for IBPLC products in the assigned sector.
• Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets.
• Closely monitor actions of the competition.
