Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group in Cape Town is seeking a Groups' Reservations Coordinator to manage group bookings end-to-end, from initial inquiry to final rooming lists and function sheets. You will collaborate with the meetings & events team to deliver seamless experiences for clients and guests.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in Meetings & Events and Reservations, strong verbal communication, attention to detail, and a positive, team‑oriented attitude, with a passion for hospitality and guest

We are currently seeking a Groups' Reservations Coordinator to join our vibrant team at Radisson Collection Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town. As a Groups' Reservations Coordinator, you embody a unique blend of precision, efficiency, and a customer‑centric approach, elevating our Reservations Team. Your role is instrumental in ensuring seamless and top‑notch service, where attention to detail meets a passion for enhancing the guest experience.

• Coordinate bookings and event details from initial confirmation through completion for rooming list, group cover sheets & function sheets
• Maintain accurate records and booking information.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximize client and guest satisfaction, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
• Support and deliver on the strategies and objectives of the meetings & events department taking ownership for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Develops and builds own skills, knowledge and experience at every opportunity within the meetings & events department, which aligns with the culture of growth, development and performance expected by the company.

• Collaborates with the Head of Department, ensuring that departmental inventory is maintained, that productivity targets are achieved and performance levels are attained
• Build and maintain effective working relationships, communicating with key stakeholders whilst promoting the company culture and values
• Ensures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow‑up as required.
