Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group in Cape Town Foreshore seeks a Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day F&B outlets, meetings and events, delivering exceptional guest experiences with hands-on supervision. You will ensure service standards, safety compliance and effective cost control while motivating the team to achieve departmental targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage service as well as meetings & events operations within a hospitality environment.
• Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions with proven problem-solving capabilities offering support where required.
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy.
• Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the smooth running of the Food & Beverage department & Meeting & Events operations, where all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
• Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
• Supports the delivery on plans and objectives where food & beverage initiatives, meeting & events & hotel targets are achieved.
• Coordinating meetings and events, ensuring that all functions are set up and executed professionally and that guest expectations are consistently exceeded.
• Supervises the food & beverage team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Supports the delivery of departmental programmes that advance service standards, profitability, and cost control.
• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor to join our vibrant team at Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore. As a Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor, you bring a heightened level of ambition, a results-driven mindset, and a deep passion for enhancing the dining experience to our dynamic F&B Team.

You will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s Food & Beverage outlets, meetings, events and banqueting functions.
