Job summary

Radisson Collection Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town (part of Radisson Hotel Group) is seeking an Engineering Technician (Painter) to join our vibrant team. You will maintain painting and finishing work to the highest standards across the property, ensuring guest comfort and visual appeal.

Responsibilities include completing planned and reactive painting in guest rooms and public areas, working safely with materials, and supporting maintenance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property maintenance with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Tertiary qualification in maintenance would be beneficial.

• Supports the smooth running of the property maintenance department, ensuring all painting and finishing work is maintained to the highest standards
• Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to painting and maintenance requests.
• Completes planned and reactive painting tasks in guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas
• Ensures surfaces, finishes and decor are well maintained and visually appealing
• Uses materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
• Assists with planned preventative maintenance related to painting and general upkeep
