Job summary

Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd seeks an experienced senior facilities/property executive to lead maintenance across hospitality properties, oversee refurbishment CAPEX, and manage engineering systems. The role requires oversight of budgets and contractor performance to uphold luxury standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in hotel groups or luxury lodge portfolios, with a proven track record in capital projects and multi-property supervision.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' experience in facilities or property management.
• At least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing multiple hospitality properties.
• Experience within a hotel group, luxury lodge group, or resort portfolio.
• Proven experience managing CAPEX and refurbishment projects.
• Strong knowledge of hotel engineering systems and building maintenance.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and contractors.

Education

National Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management

National Diploma or Degree in Property Management

National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering

National Diploma or Degree in Building Science

National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management

National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying

Or a related technical field

Project Management qualification

Health & Safety qualification (SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent)

Valid driver's licence
