Job summary

RMG Recruitment is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B for properties in the Eastern Cape. You will drive profitability, maintain brand standards, and lead multi-department teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will develop budgets, monitor P&L, ensure health and safety compliance, mentor managers, and collaborate with head office to support strategic objectives and growth in a competitive hospitality market.

• Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and analyze P&L to increase profitability.
• Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, labour, and licensing regulations.
• Mentor, lead, and evaluate performance of General Managers and staff.
• Drive high-quality customer service, monitor feedback, and resolve escalated guest issues.
• Collaborate with head office to support corporate objectives and growth.
• Develop and maintain exceptional Food & Beverage standards across all venues.
• Implement best practices across all properties and ensure licensing compliance.

• Maintain brand standards, compliance with health/safety regulations, and implement best practices across all properties.

• Mentor, lead, and evaluate performance of General Managers and staff, driving employee engagement.

• Drive high-quality customer service, monitor feedback, and resolve escalated guest issues.

• Collaborate with head office to support corporate objectives and drive company growth.

• Develop and maintain exceptional Food & Beverage standards across all restaurants, bars, lounges, banqueting, and room service operations.

• Ensure company compliance with food safety, health, labour, and liquor licensing regulations as well as other business licensing.
