Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in power utility operations or grid control.
• Proficiency with SCADA systems and energy management software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the electrical grid in real-time using SCADA and other control systems.
• Coordinate and implement grid switching orders for maintenance, construction, and emergency response.
• Analyze grid performance data to identify potential issues and recommend operational improvements.
• Communicate effectively with field operations, generation facilities, and other stakeholders during normal and emergency situations.
• Assist in the development and execution of load shedding and demand response programs.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and documentation for grid activities.
