Job summary

SurTech is seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist focused on Risk Management to join our team. You will implement and optimize GRC software solutions, configure workflows, risk assessments, dashboards, and risk registers, and tailor Diligent One to client needs.

The role requires knowledge of ISO, NIST, COSO frameworks, strong stakeholder engagement, training clients, and providing ongoing support during deployments, with travel across Africa as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Risk Management or Internal Audit or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Risk Manager or Risk Officer role.
• Experience with GRC software such as Diligent One, CURA or Barnowl is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand governance, risk and compliance objectives and tailor GRC solutions to their needs.
• Gather requirements to design and configure workflows, risk assessments, dashboards and risk registers.
• Conduct comprehensive training sessions and guide clients in reporting and analytics tools.
• Develop and maintain risk dashboards, reports and KPIs for real-time insights.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate updates to stakeholders throughout deployments.
• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and identify innovations to enhance services.
• Align GRC software with organisational risk management frameworks (ISO, NIST, COSO).
