Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Graduate Project Coordinator to support infrastructure projects in Mahikeng, North West. This entry-point role involves assisting project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects with a hybrid work arrangement.

You will coordinate resources, track timelines, and help ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget, gaining hands-on experience in IT project management and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Project, Excel and Word.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Track project progress and milestones, identify and escalate risks or issues.
• Coordinate resources including team members, vendors, and equipment.
• Maintain project documentation: schedules, status reports, meeting minutes.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders with timely updates.
• Support procurement for project hardware and software.
• Assist in managing project budgets and tracking expenditures.
• Help plan and execute testing and deployment phases.
• Ensure adherence to PM best practices and company policies.
