Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Graduate Project Coordinator for an internship in Soweto, Gauteng. You will support project managers, help define scope, track milestones, and manage documentation to ensure IT infrastructure upgrades are delivered on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with strong communication, teamwork, and a keenness to learn project management methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and change requests.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues.
• Assist in managing project budgets and tracking expenses.
• Coordinate resource allocation and task assignments.
• Support the procurement and deployment of IT infrastructure components.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes.
