Our client, an architectural firm in Bloemfontein, is seeking a Graduate Architect to join their team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in design, documentation, and project coordination for sustainable housing initiatives in Bloemfontein.

You will work under senior architects, develop drawings with CAD/BIM, and contribute to energy-efficient housing projects while learning SACAP registration pathways and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited institution.
• Prior internship or relevant work experience in an architectural firm is desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong interest in sustainable design and affordable housing solutions.
• Basic understanding of South African building regulations and construction practices.
• Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Commitment to professional development and SACAP registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in developing designs for sustainable housing.
• Prepare architectural drawings, models, and presentation materials using CAD/BIM.
• Conduct site visits and assist in documentation for design development.

• Ensure designs comply with building codes and environmental regs.
