Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Professional Architect registration with SACAP.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management, urban development focus.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs for diverse urban projects, ensuring alignment with client briefs and sustainability goals.
• Mentor and manage project teams including junior architects, designers, and consultants.
• Oversee preparation of detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using industry-standard software.
• Conduct site analyses, feasibility studies, and regulatory checks to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders with confidence.
• Ensure designs meet building codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
• Contribute to business development through client meetings and proposals.
• Champion sustainable design with energy-efficient strategies and green materials.
