Qualifications

• Formal culinary qualification from a recognized institution or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Minimum 5 years as a Chef, with at least 2 years in high-volume catering or events.
• Expertise across diverse culinary styles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative and appealing menus for events within client preferences, dietary restrictions, seasonality and budget.
• Oversee all food prep, cooking, and presentation during events to ensure quality.
• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster collaboration and efficiency.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and overall food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving and storage to minimize waste and control costs.
• Collaborate with catering management for smooth event execution and client satisfaction.
• Develop standardized recipes and cooking procedures for consistency across events.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and safe operation.
• Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance offerings.
• Conduct taste tests and quality checks to uphold flavor and presentation.
