Qualifications

• Proven experience in import/export compliance or international trade.
• Thorough understanding of customs regulations and tariff classifications.
• Experience with customs clearance procedures and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Hybrid work balance with on-site and remote tasks.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, including customs, tariffs, and trade agreements.
• Prepare, review, and manage all necessary import and export documentation.
• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and ensure data integrity.
• Monitor changes in trade laws and regulations and advise the company accordingly.
• Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in resolving customs-related issues and disputes.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on import/export compliance matters.
• Classify goods accurately for customs purposes.
• Manage import/export licenses and permits as required.
