Qualifications

• Experience in customs brokerage or freight compliance.
• Knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and import/export procedures.
• Understanding of SA customs legislation and international trade practices.
• Proficiency with declaration software and freight management systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certification in customs brokerage or international trade is advantageous.
• Understanding of Incoterms and their application.

Responsibilities

• Manage all customs declarations and documentation for imports and exports.
• Determine correct tariff classifications (HS codes) for goods.
• Calculate duties, taxes, and fees and ensure timely payment.
