Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Financial Controller to lead our finance operations from anywhere. You will oversee accounting, FP&A, compliance and internal controls while driving financial performance and strategic growth.

The role requires an independent, results-driven finance professional with strong leadership skills. You will report to the leadership team, manage banking relationships, and guide budgeting and forecasting processes to support critical business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Master's degree or CPA/CA desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years in financial management with 3+ years in a controller role.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, GL and payroll.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GAAP and other standards.
• Manage banking relationships and optimize cash flow.

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced and proactive Remote Financial Controller to lead their finance operations. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The Financial Controller will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong track record in financial leadership, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial performance. You will be a key member of the leadership team, providing critical financial insights and guidance to support the company's growth and strategic objectives. This role is designed for an independent and results-driven finance professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Manage banking relationships and optimize cash flow management.
• Identify and implement financial process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven experience with financial software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
