Placements24 is partnering with a globally recognised leader in sustainable technology to hire a Remote Public Relations Manager. This role shapes brand narrative, builds international media relationships, and drives strategic campaigns from anywhere in the world.

You will develop and execute global PR strategies, manage media relations and crises, monitor online reputation, and collaborate with Marketing, Product and Legal.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism or related field.
• 7--10 years in public relations with managerial experience.
• Proven record in global PR strategies for tech or sustainability sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong storytelling.
• Strong international media relationships.
• Crisis communications and reputation management expertise.
• Experience managing PR agencies and budgets.
• Proficiency in PR analytics and reporting.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Highly organized and able to thrive in remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global PR strategies, aligning with business objectives and brand messaging.
• Manage all aspects of media relations, including proactive pitching and press release distribution, and building relationships with international journalists and influencers.
• Lead crisis communication efforts and mitigate reputational risks.
• Oversee online reputation and social media presence, coordinating with digital teams.
• Craft key messages and talking points for stakeholders and media engagements.
• Manage PR agencies and budgets for ROI.
• Monitor global media coverage and industry trends, providing insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Legal for cohesive campaigns.
• Organise virtual press conferences and media briefings.
• Measure and report on PR effectiveness to guide future strategies.
