Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Remote PR & Communications Strategist to shape brand narratives and manage public perception from anywhere. This fully remote role focuses on developing and implementing innovative PR campaigns, building media relationships, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in public relations or communications, strong storytelling and copywriting skills, and a track record of measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in public relations or communications with a focus on strategy development.
• Proven track record of managing PR campaigns and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling and copywriting abilities.
• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain media and influencer relationships.
• Experience with digital marketing, social media, and content management systems.
• Proficiency in media monitoring and analysis tools.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects remotely.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with the South African media landscape is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute integrated PR and communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Create compelling content, including press releases, blog posts, social media updates, and internal communications.

• Provide strategic advice and counsel to leadership on PR matters.
