Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Public Relations Manager to lead our global communications from a remote-first environment. You will shape narratives, build relationships with international media, and drive PR campaigns that align with business goals.

Based in Durban, this role requires 6–8 years of PR experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while coordinating with teams across the globe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, International Relations, or related field; master's preferred.
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in public relations with global or international focus.
• Proven ability to develop and execute PR campaigns in diverse international markets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with cross-cultural understanding.
• Experience building relationships with international media.
• Knowledge of media monitoring and analysis tools.
• Crisis communications experience is essential.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, able to work remotely.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global PR strategies to enhance brand awareness.
