Placements24 is seeking a Senior PR & Communications Executive to lead a global, remote-first public relations and corporate communications program. You will shape messaging, manage international media relations, and guide crisis communications from a distance, ensuring consistent storytelling across markets and channels.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in strategic communications, superb writing, and a track record of high-profile campaigns in energy/tech or related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in PR and corporate communications, with senior leadership.
• Proven ability to develop and execute global communication strategies.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and public speaking skills with a strong portfolio.
• Extensive media relations experience including securing high-profile coverage.
• Experience in crisis communications and digital communications management.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, globally-dispersed team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global PR and corporate communications strategies.
• Manage international, national, and trade media relationships.
• Craft press releases, statements, speeches, and communications materials.
• Lead crisis communication efforts and rapid response.
• Oversee digital communications, social media, and online reputation management.

• Monitor media coverage and provide insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with marketing, investor relations, and legal for integrated messaging.
