Job summary

MRI Software is seeking a PMO Team Lead to guide the PMO function across the UK Professional Services group while supporting a hybrid Cape Town-based setup. You will drive governance, control, reporting, and continuous improvement, leading PMO Coordinators and aligning with project managers and global stakeholders.

You will shape governance processes, own audits, risk management, and delivery metrics, enabling stronger project outcomes and greater PMO maturity in a fast-paced, matrixed, globally

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management or PMO leadership within services or software.
• 2+ years in people management or team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and portfolio management.
• Certification in PRINCE2 / PMP / PMBOK / MSP (or equivalent).
• Experience managing portfolios and executive-level reporting.
• Budgeting, forecasting, resource management, and risk management.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive process improvements.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the PMO team and establish objectives.
• Governance: ensure MRI 4D Framework compliance and process improvements.
• Oversee portfolio reporting, dashboards, and delivery performance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and governance forums.
• Drive PMO maturity initiatives and training programs.
