Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Global Operations Excellence Manager to lead a remote-first transformation across international units. You will design programs, drive lean initiatives, and build dashboards to monitor KPIs, advancing efficiency and customer satisfaction on a worldwide scale.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in a related field and 8+ years in operations, with Black Belt or equivalent Six Sigma experience, strong analytics, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations management, with a strong focus on process improvement and operational excellence, preferably in a global e-commerce or retail environment.
• Proven experience in leading Lean Six Sigma projects (e.g., Black Belt certification is highly desirable).
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
• Proficiency in using data analytics tools and operational software.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote, global team setting.
• Experience with international supply chains and logistics is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement global operational excellence programs and strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across all operational functions, including supply chain, fulfillment, and customer service.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive lean Six Sigma projects and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Standardize operational processes and best practices across all international markets to ensure consistency and quality.
• Facilitate training and workshops on operational excellence methodologies for global teams.
• Collaborate with regional operations leaders to ensure effective implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Analyze operational data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and develop data-driven solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in operations and supply chain management.
