Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Planning Coordinator to support the Planning Manager in execution of daily planning, scheduling, and client communication. You will translate client instructions into actionable tasks, monitor workflows, and maintain documentation for internal teams and clients.

The role emphasizes accuracy, coordination across teams, and compliance with regulatory requirements, with potential exposure to peak-season scheduling and a demand for clear client communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Training or certification in logistics or warehouse management advantageous.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, planning, or warehouse coordination, preferably in a fruit cold storage environment.
• Familiarity with scheduling and warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log client instructions regarding product storage, handling, and dispatch.
• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments aligned with client needs and operational capacity.
• Maintain accurate records of product movement and inventory updates.
• Act as a point of contact for clients regarding order status and updates.
• Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure timely execution of storage, inspections and dispatch activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and client-specific requirements and assist audits.
